Jim Wall | The Adventure Chronicles
This past weekend one of my greatest adventures of all reached a new milestone, but our wedding was about more than just Michelle and I.

If you only had one message to share with everyone you loved in just 2 minutes...
What would you share?
I stood there next to Michelle in front of a room of 80 guests, all holding a glass of champagne and eagerly waiting to toast.
It was a glass building surrounded on all sides by gardens, flowers, and beautiful Colombian countryside.
The guests were from 12+ countries on 5 different continents.
Our family and friends from all phases of life were there for this moment.
Our Message to the World
Michelle and I fell in love because of a core belief we both share:
Curiosity and love are the strongest forces in the world.
They transcend culture, religion, race, and all other differences.
Everyone in that room represented all the differences that can exist in the world.
And they all chose curiosity and love over fear.
How Love is Universal
Many of the guests spoke only Spanish or English, yet we witnessed so many connections.
People laughing, toasting, hugging, and summoning the few words they knew.
It was truly beautiful.
One moment, a guest who spoke no English approached me.
He told me that even though he didn't understand the words of my vows, he understood the meaning.
He felt the intention in my voice and my gaze.
And he cried.
Love is the universal language my dear friend.
What This Means for You
All we get in life is the present.
And all we get to take with us to our last moments are our memories and relationships.
In every moment, we get to choose fear, or curiosity and love.
That is the message Michelle and I represent with our life together.
And I hope this message serves you.
That it opens doors to new insights, experiences, and friendships for you.
Because we believe that a world where we choose curiosity and love over fear is a better world.
It's an audacious path to choose, and many people stay in their fear.
But this is the message we chose to share in those 2 minutes of a lifetime.
And I hope you, too, will join us in this great adventure.
The Bottom Line
Fear will always exist, but it is our choice of what to do next that shapes our life.
We discover more about ourselves, make new friends, and expand our worldview.
Or we stay small and unchallenged.
So my friend, my challenge for you this week is to choose curiosity and love next time you feel fear.
Talk to someone new at the cafe, on the train, in line at the grocery store, or at work. Just be curious about them, and see what happens. I bet you won't regret it.
“I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift would be curiosity”
One of my more core beliefs:
Love and curiosity are stronger than fear.
I use these values to guide every single decisions I make.
What are your most core believes and values?
